In our Blue Sugars demo plant, we have successfully validated the process and yields debuted at our lab pilot facility in Rapid City. We have also tested various equipment and process setups. This experience has been fed back into the R&D and lab work resulting into Blue Sugars's 4th generation process design.
In 2010 our demo plant will be upgraded to the latest Blue Sugars4.2G0 process which will include flexible feedstock capability. This work is due to be completed by the third quarter of 2010 and will re-start with a multiple campaign demonstration program with sugarcane bagasse as the feedstock. From this point forward the Blue Sugars demo plant will be an integral part of our commercialization strategy and will carry out industrial validation of the feedstock and process set up for every new plant at the feasibility stage. This will assure a safe scale-up, optimize the process and minimize performance risks. We will also use our demo facility to train customer startup and production teams.
